            5 Mile start - 8:30 am

            2 Mile start - 8:45 am

Walk, run or wheelchair either distance.

Bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, pets or smoking will NOT be permitted on the course. Our insurance, RRCA, and USATF do not allow headphones in races.

Where:  Downtown Billings, Montana

Start at North 24th Street & 2nd Avenue North

  Finish at North 30th Street & 2nd Avenue North

 

MUST pre-register and pick up t-shirt and packet by 6 pm, Friday May 7.

(Out of town, pre-registered entrants only, may pick up t-shirts and packets Race Day 7-8 am.)

 

Headquarters May 3-7 ONLY:  219 N. 29th St. under the blue-green awning

Monday through Friday

Headquarters will open Monday morning, May 3.

For 2010

Online: $17 (+ active.com processing fee)

Checks or Cash (mail or walk-in) before Thursday, May 6: $19

Add $2 for XXL shirt

Late Fee: Add $5 on Thursday and Friday, May 6 and 7.

(Children in strollers do not need to be registered.)


DEADLINES

1. Guaranteed T-Shirt Deadline:  Wednesday, April 21.

All paid entries will receive a t-shirt.  Registrations postmarked by April 21 are guaranteed an official Montana Women’s Run T-shirt before Race Day.  Registrations postmarked after April 21 may receive a t-shirt before race day subject to availability.  No guarantee of size or color.

2. Registration closes at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 7.

3. On-line Registration closes Friday, April 30 at 11pm.

4. The cost increases by $5 on Thursday, May 6 and Friday, May 7.

5. Team Up entries must be received by April 21.

6. Pasta Night reservations must be received by May 5.

    RRCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

    For 2010, both the 5 Mile and the 2 Mile races have been designated Road Runners Club of America State Championship races.  Each winner will be a “State Champion” in her distance for 2010.

    SANCTIONED AND CERTIFIED EVENT

    USATFAthletes who participate in this competition may be subject to formal drug testing in accordance with USA Track & Field rules and IAAF rules.  Athletes found positive for banned substances, or who refuse to be tested, will be disqualified from this event and will lose eligibility for future competitions.  Some prescription and over-the-counter medications may contain banned substances.  Information regarding drugs and drug testing may be obtained by calling the USOC Hot Line at 1-800-233-0393. 2 Mile: MT03006GT, 5 Mile: MT03007GT

 

USATF Rule #144.3b

The visible possession or use by athletes of video or audio cassette recorders or players, TVs, CD or DVD players, radio transmitters or receivers, mobile phones, computers or any similar devices in the competition area shall not be permitted.”
