VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are needed for packet pick-up during the week before the race, for course guards during the race, and for various other tasks. All volunteers receive a FREE volunteer t-shirt. Men can be an important part of this event, supporting the women, by acting as a course guard from 7am until no later than 11am. (Most will be done earlier.) Please help.

AWARDS & PRIZES

Each finisher will receive a 2010 Montana Women's Run commemorative pin.

Special prizes will be given to the top 3 overall and First Place Masters and Super Masters in each race from Cold Mountain Mugs and Arne Esp, Silversmith. Awards medals will be presented to the first 5 finishers in each age group. Children in strollers are not eligible for awards. The first finisher in each race will receive a Garmin GPS unit donated by Selby's. Medals sponsored by University of Mary, Billings Center.

Grand Prize drawings will be done at the Awards Ceremony, including five $100 bills (must be present to win).

Trophies and certificates will be awarded to the Team Up groups.

The ceremony takes place under the Skypoint at 2nd Avenue North and North Broadway at about 10 am.

Awards Ceremony and Post-race Party sponsored by Perkins, Stella's Kitchen and Bakery, and American Water Technologies, with special support from the Billings Family YMCA.


PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

Professional action photography will be provided by MontanaStars. You can view, share or purchase photos online at www.montanastars.com. Photos will be online by Wednesday, May 12.

For group or individual photos before or after the race, see one of the photographers wearing a MontanaStars t-shirt. You will be under no obligation.


MASSAGES

Marcia's Massage therapists will offer 10 minute massages for $5. Buy 2 or more for a special treat! Tips are welcome. Therapists will be located near Skypoint after the race.

DONATIONS

Since 1994, the Montana Women's Run has given over $500,000 back to the Billings community in support of women's issues. Last year we donated over $60,000 divided among the following organizations: Billings YWCA, Billings Clinic Women's Wellness Fund, Billings Family YMCA, and scholarships for women at MSU-Billings and Rocky Mountain College.
