Other InformationVOLUNTEERSVolunteers are needed for packet pick-up during the week before the race, for course guards during the race, and for various other tasks. All volunteers receive a FREE volunteer t-shirt. If you can help, call the Montana Women's Run hotline 406-255-8488, or email info@womensrun.org. AWARDS & PRIZESEach finisher will receive a 2008 Montana Women's Run commemorative pin. Special prizes will be given to the top 3 overall and First Place Masters and Super Masters in each race, from Arne Esp Silversmith and Cold Mountain Mugs. Awards medals will be presented to the first 5 finishers in each age group. Children in strollers are not eligible for awards. The first finisher in each race will receive a Garmin GPS unit donated by Selby's. Medals sponsored by University of Mary, Billings Center. Grand Prize drawings will be done at the Awards Ceremony, including five $100 bills (must be present to win). Trophies and certificates will be awarded to the Team Up groups. The ceremony takes place under the Skypoint at 2nd Avenue North and North Broadway at about 10 am. Awards Ceremony and Post-race Party sponsored by Perkins, Stella's Kitchen and Bakery, and American Water Technologies. PHOTO OPPORTUNITIESProfessional action photography will be provided by MontanaStars. You can view, share or purchase photos online at www.montanastars.com. Photos will be online by Wednesday, May 14. For group or individual photos before or after the race, see one of the photographers wearing a MontanaStars t-shirt. You will be under no obligation. MASSAGESMarcia's Massage therapists will offer 10 minute massages for $5 and 20 minute massages for $10 on race day. Tips are welcome. Last year we donated over $50,000 divided among the following organizations: Billings YWCA, Billings Clinic Women's Wellness Fund, Billings Family YMCA, and scholarships for women at MSU-Billings and Rocky Mountain College. |
